On 27th November, 2024 Our Little Secret landed up on Netflix under the direction of Stephen Herek. The lead characters Lindsey Lokhan and Ian Harding are working together as two disgruntled exes. Avery and Logan crossed paths 10 years after their breakup. On Christmas Eve with unexpected circumstances, they were forced to spend the night under the same roof. At that point, they got to know that their new partners were siblings, and it became a very awkward situation for both of them. On that very eve of Christmas, they decided not to tell the secret of their earlier relationship with anyone. While the both of them were kind to each other and were trying hard to keep each other comfortable without telling the secret to anyone, some uncertain circumstances errors throughout the movie and their secret got exposed in the while.

How did the secret of Avery and Logan get exposed in front of others?
Cam and Cassie, the current boyfriend and girlfriend of Avery and Logan, invited both Avery and Logan to their family Christmas party. Avery and Logan used to know from earlier that their partners had some siblings but they didn’t know whom they were dating. They all met at the Christmas party and decided not to tell anyone the Secret. Both of them made a deal in which Avery was going to help Logan with his construction approval from Erica’s friend, on the other hand, Logan was going to help her to make her bond stronger with Cam’s mother.
Cassie had planned a surprise for Logan and invited both Logan’s grandmother and mother to surprise him, in the meanwhile Logan’s grandmother who had met Avery long before when they were in the relationship recognized her and told everyone about their being in a relationship and their secret got revealed in front of others. After the revaluation of truth Cassie was totally heartbroken and Callum was in a deep shock. When Callum was blaming her she asked questions about his secrets which he had never told her. Avery parted ways with Logan after knowing there was nothing going on between Callam and Sophie. Logan and Cassie also ended up with a harsh discussion resulting in their breakup.
Do Logan and Avery come together at the end of the movie?
From the very start of the movie, Avery and Logan are shown as deeply in love, even Logan has also proposed to her for marriage, and both families are also supportive, but their life takes a sudden change and they both get separated. 10 years later when both of them met on Christmas Eve they didn’t break their boundaries and met as normal friends, respecting their current partners. Even throughout the film, the viewers don’t witness any affair again starting between them.
In the last part of the movie just ten minutes after the movie is going to end, Logan’s appearance in the housewarming party shocks the audience till no end. Logan also revealed that he is thankful for Christmas Eve as that was the perfect evening that brought him back into the life of Avery and he confessed his love for her. The couple was seen living happily together one year later.
What happens with Erica and her family in our little secret
The ideal couple Avery and Logan were very happy in their small world and Logan was working with stan. Erica was in a lovely marriage with Leonard, it was not clear between everyone and in front of their children. Leonard was in an affair with Margaret, it was known to Erica. It was seen that Erica was still with stan and he continued his relationship with Margaret. After the time jump in our little secret, Erica was totally changed, much happier and relaxed. She was no longer in a loveless marriage.
Did Avery get her Family house back in Our Little Secret?
Avery Got to know that her father was remarrying and selling their house at the time she was leaving to stay with Cam in his family house. Avery knows that his father is now retired and needs money that’s why he is just selling the house. In the last scene when she was with Logan she told him that she wanted to own the house. Logan asked her that she should put effort into getting her house back and asked her father if she wanted to own the house. After all the efforts the couple got her house pack after paying the money to her father.

Conclusion
In the last scene of our little secret both Avery and Logan are living a happy married life in her family house. It was the dream house of Avery, where they were seen raising their family and fulfilling their dreams. Logan’s confessions at their housewarming party of Avery were really special and heart-touching for the audience as they were not expecting this ending. From their relationship to their separation and meeting after 10 years, was really a roller coaster journey for the audiences also.
Watching both of them together and living a happily married life is just a blessing for the viewers. Ultimately in the end the two exes get back together and start a new journey with all happiness and no grudges of the past in their heart. Stephen Herek’s effort in directing this movie was seen very clearly. The Writing of the movie was also very compelling.
