It is December 10, 2024, and it is another day to play another round of NYT Connections! The game for the day is challenging a player to group 16 words into four sets of four that have common themes. This, sometimes tricky, sometimes fun, is part of what the game is all about. In this blog post, I will give you some hints and answers for the puzzle today, along with insights into the game.
Understanding NYT Connections
NYT Connections is one of the most popular word game puzzles, and it has really caught the attention of many word game fans. In this game, players are given a grid of 16 words that seem to have nothing in common at first. The task is to group these words into four different groups of four based on common characteristics. Unlike crosswords, it requires the player to think critically and creatively about connections between words.

My Experience with Today’s NYT Connections Hints
As I solved the puzzle for today, I found the yellow group pretty easy. Clues about titles really helped me to realize rather quickly which words belonged to the topic of naming something. The green group was pretty easy too, once I started thinking about all the phases of a flight. It took a little more thinking on the blue and purple groups, however.
The blue group made me think of actions that involved searching or looking around for things, so it was nice to have that. The purple group was a bit tough because it required the removal of letters from country names, making it even harder.
