The NYPD arrested a man suspected in the death of a woman from Rochdale Village, Queens.

Dayo Corley’s body was found in her vehicle near Baisley Pond Park on Halloween day, two days after she was reported missing by a co-worker. Corley was found by the police unconscious and unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

Friends and relatives of the victim had feared the worse when Corley had not returned home after she was last seen on 137th Ave. and Farmer’s Blvd., just around the corner from her apartment in Rochdale Village. She was immediately reported missing.

“The boyfriend had something to do with it,” one friend speculated, who lives in Corley’s building but didn’t want to be identified. “She threw him out and he was stalking her.”

Corley posted on her Facebook page, a month before her death,  that someone nameless had tried to hack her account.

Residents from Corley’s housing complex suspected the boyfriend in her killing immediately after her body was discovered by the police.

“He went missing in action the day after she was reported missing,” one resident said.

On Friday, police arrested Qwantrell Gilliam, 41, of Queens, and charged him with murder and tampering with physical evidence, as well as with criminal possession of a weapon.

Friends and relatives celebrated Corley’s birthday Thursday. She would have turned 44.

“All I can say is, we’re going to miss her,” one friend of the family said. “She was taken away from her family, her two beautiful kids, and all of us who adored her. What can I say? We’re heartbroken. We still can’t believe this happened to her.”
