On the first Wednesday of every month the Loisaida Center will continue to serve as the home for the Nuyorican Poets Cafe’s W.O.W. (Womxn Orator Wednesday) hosted by our 2024 Grand Slam Champion, Sumbodies Mama and featuring Indigo Forrest!
This womxn empowered program invites storytellers of all ages to share their work in front of a live studio audience.
Doors open at 6pm which is also when performance sign ups begin.
All performers will be live streamed and the video of the entire show will be shared on the Nuyorican Poets Cafe YouTube channel after the show.
