International humanitarian relief organization CARE is partnering with the Hutchins Family Foundation and Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network to provide 175,000 nutritious meals to frontline health workers and vulnerable people impacted by COVID in the Bronx and Harlem, two of the neighborhoods most affected by COVID in the world.

The Community Meal Distribution Program will start on Monday, May 4th (at Noon) until further notice. Meals will be distributed at Fort Motte Baptist Church at 446 Willis Ave – Bronx, NY 10455.

These “CARE Packages®” mark the first time that CARE has delivered relief domestically since its founding in 1945 when CARE coined the term “CARE Package®” by sending packages filled with food and other essentials to survivors of World War II.
