National Action Network (NAN) will recognize the historic life of Congressman and Civil Rights legend John Lewis while commemorating the sixth anniversary of the murder of Eric Garner.

On Saturday, July 18th, Rev. Al Sharpton, National Action Network (NAN) will recognize the historic life of Congressman and Civil Rights legend John Lewis while commemorating the sixth anniversary of the murder of Eric Garner.

In addition, Congressmember-elect Jamaal Bowman will join the family of Eric Garner to honor the life of Eric Garner, who was choked to death six years ago by New York City police officers in Staten Island.

This rally and will commemorate the sixth anniversary of Garner’s death and peacefully protest every victim of police brutality across the nation. The rally will also mobilize the community to stand in unwavering solidarity against the unnecessary and unacceptable losses of innocent Black lives at the hands of law enforcement.

The rally will take place at the National Action Network headquarters – “The House of Justice” at106 W 145th St at Malcolm X Blvd New York, NY.
