Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of my most preferred simulators for flight simulation. Now, four years after part 1, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is coming to immerse the players in an even greater experience. This release is expected to be the best so far with new features missions and even more stunning graphics.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Release Date and Timing
The game will be released on 19th November 2024. UK players can begin flying at 1600 GMT and gamers in the United States can start at 0800 PST. Free data download and preloading are supported, but preloading is supported with only 330MB meaning additional downloads should be done on launch day.

What’s New in 2024?
This version shoots the horizon forward with different types of new airplanes that are not seen in the previous version such as jumbo jets, helicopters, glider airships, and balloons flown with hot air. The game offers hair-raising activities such as aerial combat, crop duster, and search and rescue amongst others. Expect to encounter such unfavorable weather conditions which are storms, wildfires, tornadoes, or snowstorms among others which are meant to make even the most experienced pilot struggle.
For the first time now, players have the ability to disembark from the aircraft and perform other operations. There are 27 biomes to explore, which means all the regions offer detailed geography accompanied by vegetation, fauna, and sometimes even specific natural structures.
Various Editions Available
As for now, fans can buy the game in advance at different prices to suit all customers. Standard Edition features 70 aircraft and 150 airports while the Premium Deluxe contains feature 95 aircraft and 160 airports. The standard edition has more features with fun additions such as a flight bag or a metal case known as a steelbook.
If you are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can access them on launch day at no additional cost.
Enhanced Gameplay Features
In addition, the release brings a new Career Mode in which players receive experience and get access to new aircraft. A Challenge League is about racing and achieving precision landings. Flighplanninger is further enhanced to help the players plan flight routes, fuel, and weather.
There are also those for travelers, it has the creative mode where you can even take great photos of beautiful architecture.

Where Can You Play?
The game is playable on Xbox Series X/S and a PC. It is only for Xbox on consoles but can also be played on Steam for PC gamers.
