Burger King Corporation recently served as title sponsor for the 19th Annual “A Midsummer Night’s Magic Weekend� fundraising extravaganza hosted by Earvin Magic Johnson and the Magic Johnson Foundation.
The company joined its newest powerhouse franchisee, Magic Johnson in his annual scholarship fundraiser with proceeds going to the Taylor Michaels Scholarship Program. The fund’s mission is to provide much needed resources to young urban students who show a desire to attend college and display the potential for academic success.

Burger King Corporation’s sponsorship of A Midsummer Night’s Magic is the latest in a series of associations with Magic Johnson. Just weeks before, Burger King Corporation and Magic Johnson Enterprises executed a multi-year agreement in which the basketball legend and now, entrepreneurial giant became the newest Burger King franchisee with a total of 30 restaurants in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” /><st1:City w:st=”on”>Atlanta</st1:City>, <st1:City w:st=”on”>Birmingham</st1:City>, <st1:City w:st=”on”>Dallas</st1:City> and <st1:place w:st=”on”><st1:City w:st=”on”>Miami</st1:City></st1:place>.
