John Ojo is Los Angeles based founder of Little Africa “Soul Made Global”, the emerging lifestyle brand that brings the founders’ African roots and Angeleno existence together, timed to the brand’s upcoming ComplexCon showcase.

Little Africa was born from the intent to celebrate the ideologies, culture, imagery, figures and sayings of both identities for the first generation Nigerian – American who resides in the “City of Angels”. Cleverly utilizing the LA initials to further storytell the merge of “Little Africa”, Ojo’s brand illustrates the importance of authentic culture in streetwear.

The emerging brand alongside Lazy Cake, an emerging fashion brand founded by independent artist Sarah Bahbah, will activate at the Claima x Vistaprint ComplexCon booth. Alongside the pop-up experience, both nominated businesses will receive invaluable mentorship from Claima Stories’ network of high-profile streetwear brand owners, marketing collateral, story capture and social spotlights with Claima and a $15,000 grant to help support additional business needs.
