The following letter to the editor, criticizing Hillary Clinton’s stance on Netanyahu’s Gaza War on Palestinians, was sent by Utah resident Kimball Shinkoskey.
Dear Editor,
On ABC’s The View, Hillary Clinton did not hesitate to say a ceasefire in Gaza would be bad because it will allow Hamas to re-arm. (12-21-23) Madame Secretary, how? When?
After a similar ferocious period of bombing of metropolitan areas by the U.S. in World War II, it took Germany and Japan generations to get back on their feet. And America made sure the ceasefire agreements with those countries contained provisions prohibiting them from military rearmament, surely a posture Israel would take with Palestinians in Gaza.
In the meantime, what are the straggling elements of Hamas going to do if there were a ceasefire in Gaza today? Build tunnels to Lebanon? Parachute tanks into Gaza or ferry them in at night by sea?
Explain to me, Mrs. Clinton, why your position is not just pure propaganda for the Biden/Netanyahu policy of extended civilian racial and religious killing in Gaza.
