The Ku Klux Klan once operated clandestinely in the South to oppose African American civil rights. Today, we have a new Ku Klux Klan called ICE agents, who operate openly under the authority of government to go after people of color.
The federal government is now doing TV recruitment ads for ICE agents. The ads are grossly misleading and clearly corrupting of new recruits.
The ads say the job is to “Get the worst of the worst,” when in fact some 70% of ICE detainees have no criminal record at all.
The ads also offer “up to a $50,000 signing bonus” and “Student loan forgiveness.”
These are essentially bribes offered to wannabe do-gooders who then understand they are obligated to do whatever the hell the President wants them to do, even if it is breaking the law or breaking heads.
