Hulu has confirmed the return of the then-popular cartoon ‘King of the Hill’ and its release date. This cartoon was the definition of love for the late 1990s kids and released its last episode in 2010. However, this show is returning with a twist on our favorite Disney Channel. The main character of the show is now an adult whose daily adventures in the world will be shown on TV. On 4 August 2025, the first episode of a total of 10 new episodes will be released on the Disney Channel. We don’t know how many kids will watch this show, but the millennials will relive their childhood.
Beginning of a New journey in Arlen, Texas
After a long leap, the story is set in Arlen, Texas, where Bobby Hill’s parents, Hank and Peggy Hill, return to their home. They will be meeting up with their friends- Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill to relive their childhood. The two characters are retiring after serving for years in Saudi Arabia’s overseas crew.

Moreover, Johnny Hardwick, who played the role of Dale Gribble, who was one of the talented voice artists in the group, has passed away. His role will be dubbed by Toby Huss due to the unfortunate loss. The original cast of The King of the Hill includes- Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss, who have made the original one a success. Toby Huss will be recording the remaining 4 episodes of King of the Hill on behalf of Johnny Hardwick. Johnny had completed recording 6 episodes before passing away in 2023 which has reduced the load on Toby Huss.
