Jonathan Towns was seen disrespecting his wife, Anna Towns, not once but many times in Season 37 of the CBS series. The audience attacked him for not treating his wife with respect and sensitivity. On May 7, an episode of “The Amazing Race” premiered on CBS, in which Jonathan was seen calling his wife a terrible partner Jonathan Towns Amazing Race controversy.’ So, of course, he would be receiving the backlash for mistreating his wife while all she is trying to do is support him.

After the controversy sparked, Jonathan posted a video on YouTube where he addressed his behaviour on “The Amazing Race” where he mistreated his wife. He said that he apologised for the behaviour he showed to his wife on-screen. He also confessed that he realises the mistake he made wholeheartedly and that it is on him.
Jonathan apologized to his wife for calling her ‘a terrible partner’, while she was there to put up with all his anger and ignorant behaviour. Later, he added that she is a great partner who is adjusting to this new environment and people, and still has to bear his anger just because he couldn’t do it for himself. Jonathan said that no excuses could make up for his actions and also shouted at her face for her team, Fast and Furious.
He regards his behaviour as non-excludable and unforgivable, as whatever reason he may give on this topic, he’ll end up feeling stupid for even trying to justify and defend it. We don’t know the truth more than the couple on “The Amazing Race,” and thus, we cannot conclude if he does the same to his wife often.

Jonathan’s ASD syndrome
Previous to this response video, Jonathan had posted a video on YouTube where he revealed that he is suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this case, you are unable to regulate your emotions if you get off track from your day-to-day routine. He also mentioned that it becomes difficult for him to support someone around him when he is overwhelmed with his emotions.
He shares his experience on “The Amazing Race” while dealing with the syndrome. Towns confess that due to no routine on the show, he faces difficulties in regulating his emotions, including anger. He cannot control the external factors around him, which could trigger him to say or do something he’ll regret later.
