A BBC commentator interviewed John Hunt, who lost his wife and daughters in a murder attempt by Kyle Clifford last year. During an interview at the BBC with his daughter, Amy, he had an emotional breakdown after a long time of silence. In the interview, he opened up about how he still feels love even after his wife, Carol, and his two daughters, Hannah and Louise, are no more. Kyle Clifford is an individual who was sentenced to a full life imprisonment for three murders on 9 July, 2024.
John Hunt’s Emotional Moment
While opening up for the first time in public about the murder of his wife and daughters, John Hunt was found heartbroken and struggling with his mental state every day. He revealed that every morning he wakes up, he first wishes good morning to the three of them. Also, he tells how happy their family was before fate broke them apart.
He even told the BBC that he sometimes wakes up and tells his girls that he won’t be able to come with them. He added that he said it out loud that he is with their mom right now. His revisiting and talking to the three in imagination shows that he is not over the incident yet. The gentleman is drowned in grief over his ‘happy’ family, which was snatched away from him by a killer. Even when justice is served, a human never really gets past the trauma they received from an incident.

John Hunt and his Daughter, Amy, on the Murder
For the first time in a year, John Hunt and Amy have opened up about the events that happened after the murder. It was difficult for them to talk about this, but they decided it was time to speak up on it. Neither father nor daughter wants to live with the weight of being from the family that was brutally murdered. Moreover, they revealed that the initial reports regarding the death were incorrect, which made it more remorseful for them.
Amy told the BBC how badly she wants to breathe in the scent of her mother and her sisters, who are no more. The reports said that Louise was in an abusive relationship with Clifford, which led to such an incident. However, even the BBC commentator disagrees with the report and defines it as inaccurate.
Amy and John Hunt told how close their family was to each other. They shared every secret and every thought. In such a case, this allegation was bound to be incorrect. Moreover, both Louise and Hannah were working; Louise owned a dog grooming business, while Hannah worked in beauty and aesthetics. On the other hand, Amy recounted how on a sister’s outing, they called themselves lucky to have such a lovely family.
What Happened on the Day of the Murder?
According to John and Amy, Clifford somehow managed to gain access to their home. He was deceiving Carol Hunt and then stabbed her to death. It was true that Louise was in a relationship with him, but they were not abusive. This incident happened after Louise broke up with Clifford two weeks before the murder. But killing Carol Hunt was not enough. He waited until Louise came back to her home. As she entered, he raped her relentlessly and killed her after he was done with her with a crossbow. He shot Hannah when she returned to the house, which was nothing but a silent house haunted by her mother and sister’s screams.
Mr. Hunt also revealed that before dying, Hannah texted her boyfriend about the happenings in the house. He informed the police and her father about the tragic incident and how his daughter saved him. The police were struck by the strength and wisdom shown by Hannah, who took the right step to save the rest of her family.

Conclusion
No one could ever think that Clifford was capable of murder if Louise broke up with him. He was immature, but he was a psychopath who couldn’t handle a girl rejecting him. A wrong step and a person led to the destruction of Mr. Hunt and his family, which he is still not over.
