The AIPAC Genocide lobby is celebrating victory today after progressive New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman was defeated in the NY 16 District race. The $25 million that was spent on their campaign advertisements were successful—along with Democratic Party betrayal and help from Black Judas characters in our communities.

Let’s admit this: the Democratic Party leadership (Hilliary Clinton’s endorsement included) sold Bowman out to appease the donor daddies who fill their pockets with political bribes.

The charge that Bowman lost the race because of “anti-Semitism” is pure fiction. Bowman was targeted because he took a principled stand—a oxymoronic thing in politics—in speaking up for the humanity of Palestinians by calling for a ceasefire and criticizing the butcher prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.

Next month, this murderous maniac will be speaking before out national den of thieves in the U.S. Congress.

In 2024, it has become crystal clear that some people’s lives, particularly non-white ones, just don’t matter much. Palestinian civilians are clearly being ethnically cleansed. But you’re supposedly anti-Semitic if you dare utter this obvious truth.

We now have no free speech right to criticize a foreign right-wing government led by a man who would possibly be facing prison time if not for the continuation of this ongoing genocide. This is the sad state of affairs in a country that supposedly cherishes the First Amendment.

Mr. Bowman should be applauded by all people of conscience especially by those of African descent who have experienced virulent violent racial oppression like no other group in world history. Unfortunately, Black America has always had those who will sell us out for their own selfish gains.

For example, it was reported that a group of Black ministers recently lined up in Mount Vernon to support the AIPAC-sponsored candidate George Latimer against Bowman. One of them, Bishop Troy DeCohen, senior pastor of Mount Vernon Heights Congregational Church, said this: “George is our guy. And this is not a Black-and-white issue for us. This is an issue about who’s right, and who’s better for the job and the position.”

Let us ignore the “this is not a Black-and-white issue” nonsense and focus on this: these Black pastors are ignoring the fact that Latimer was recruited by people who represent those committing mass murder against Palestinian civilians right now—including the killings of innocent babies. Aren’t men of the cloth supposed to care for “the least of these?” Shouldn’t we expect “men of God” to affirm life and not death?

Instead, we have shameless charlatan pastors indirectly endorsing genocide with their support of this AIPAC candidate Latimer. Of course, many of these pastors use their altars to lead their congregations like sheep to the slaughter. Do these Black ministers think the AIPAC crowd respects Black humanity anymore than they do the humanity of Palestinians?  Do they really thing Latimer will be “better for the job?” Or does “better for the job” mean better for the selfish individual interests of these Black preachers?

Black America, and progressive America, must also take clear notice that the Democratic Party leadership gave their blessing to the removal of Bowman because that is what AIPAC, and their other billionaire donors, wanted. The current Democratic leadership is hypocritically hopelessly unethical.

These same Democrats, who rightly attack Republicans for not taking action against gun violence in America, are enabling Palestinian genocide. We must now decide what strategic tactics to use to punish the Democratic leadership. When a progressive like Jamaal Bowman can be removed is their any wonder then why we never get the transformative change that the nation really needs?

One of our main tasks now is to identifying ways to penalize those inside the Democratic Party who betray us. Part of this, if necessary, must be to use a similar strategy that was deployed to takedown Bowman namely: the primary challenge. These misleaders in the Democratic Party are crooked and the time has come to make examples of some of them.

Americans who care about the influence of big money in undermining our democracy must now also be prepared to take decisive action against immoral groups like the AIPAC Genocide lobby and against bully billionaires like Ed Blum and Bill Ackman.

Are we going to allow big money to intimidate and silence us when there are more of us?

Jamaal Bowman must be praised for refusing to be silenced like the whole sorry lot of Democrats soiling their pockets with AIPAC blood money. Moreover, although Bowman lost this battle, we expect to see him continue to fight for our people.

Who knows maybe he will run (perhaps as an independent) in 2025 to be the next mayor of New York City.
