What Elon Musk Had To Say About The Reveal?

Jaguar is slowly moving forward in its new journey of launching electric cars in the market and there is only one name that comes to our mind when we think about the Luxury Electric Car Industry across the globe which is Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc., a company that has been manufacturing luxury electric cars since the year 2003. As we saw the launch of the new logo by Jaguar for its upcoming luxury car range, of course, Elon Musk had to come up with an interesting comment. In the video released on X by Jaguar that highlighted the new taglines and logo of the company, Elon through his official X handle asked Jaguar if they actually sell cars.

What Did The Company Reply To Elon Musk?

To the sarcastic comment made by the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, Jaguar also did not stay back and also gave him a reply to get back at him. The company, keeping in mind all the sense of decency it is known for, mentioned that they indeed sell cars and would love to show it to him. Jaguar in its reply to a comment made by Musk on X, also invited him to the showcase of the company that will be held in Miami on the 2nd of December this year along with their “warmest regards” for him.

Netizens Reactions

Jaguar officially released the logo of the brand in a video on X that gained 14.3 million views till now and more than 8000 quotes. However, the reactions of the public were not something Jaguar must have expected as it is actually pretty negative. The internet is flooded with memes and just like Elon Musk people are actually questioning the new branding strategy of Jaguar. The entire video looked more like the advertisement of a fashion brand rather than a car manufacturing brand. The responses of the brand to those negative comments sound passive-aggressive which is making them sound defensive or combative which is definitely not good for its reputation.

Conclusion

The Jaguar New Logo reveal has sparked a wave of criticism not only on X but on many other social media handles as well. The company is all set to launch its very first electric car model in the coming year and it would be pretty interesting to see if they actually manage to salvage the situation with their new models and car designs. Jaguar will be holding its showcase in Miami on the 2nd of December which is expected to reveal many new designs and provide a lot of new updates for car lovers, especially those who intend to buy a Jaguar car model in the near future.
