Ironheart Review: Marvel’s Action Shines, Story Falls Short

Marvel Studios has changed its strategy to attract losing and uninterested Ironheart Review consumers by adding new movies and elements. They have decided to step back from creating a six-episode series from the scripts, which are movie-worthy. The franchise made this smart decision to keep the TV shows separate from the movies.

Ironheart’s filming has been completed for three years, but it has been released late. It was still wise to release it just as the series needed to be backed after a movie. Ironheart is a good TV show for viewers who want to binge-watch a movie or a series. It has shown impeccable performances by the characters and many jaw-dropping action scenes to make your day. However, the plot is not properly set and seems rushed and messed up. Noting that the finale does not align with the rest of the story and feels out of place.

Riri Williams’ Performance

Riri Williams has played the role of Dominique Throne, who is an intelligent student drawn towards technology. She finds herself back at MIT, where she was selling her tech projects to the students who were willing to buy. Being caught doing so, she was expelled from the school. Her last move in the school was stealing a suit she made and leaving the city to go to Chicago.

Riri’s character frequently resonates with many qualities of Tony Stark, who played the role of Iron Man. She is a young, beautiful black girl who will give the Marvel Universe a new famous character. If we compare her with Tony Stark, he was provided with a lot of resources to carry on his research. On the other hand, Riri has a different story plot from his. The two characters may have the same goal, but they will take different paths to achieve it. It looks like the story is greatly inspired by Iron Man and Tony Stark.

Ramos As the Villain

Marvel Studios has attempted to do something that it hasn’t tried to tap before. It has merged the magical powers of characters with technology. The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos, is the villain of the story, who has a band of criminals behind him. They commit crimes and attempt to steal from the wealthy class to enjoy luxury. If you notice, Ramos’ Hood gives very off-vibes like it has taken him into a different world, where he can’t control himself anymore.

Ramos’s character isn’t given much screen time, and thus, it won’t be possible to interpret much from the series. He is only involved in making cash to transform his life into one with luxury. However, not much screen time is given to any character due to time constraints. The same has happened with the other members of the band, who did an outstanding performance on the screen but couldn’t mark their name. The lesser screen time was the major reason that they couldn’t show their scenes and performances properly. Moreover, the villainous role has been a unique idea in this movie, and will surely pose issues when trying to tackle it.

Conclusion

While the script lacks a plot setting, the action scenes in the exterior of Chicago or Georgia didn’t fail to impress. All the scenes that include fights, Riri’s suit, and a lot of action were picture-perfect. There is no doubt that Marvel Studios has the ability and reputation to revolutionize its action scenes like no one else can. Even if the story is not formatted properly due to time constraints, the action didn’t disappoint. Moreover, the ending was not all the story had. It suggested that we might have a second part to this series, as it showed more secrets to be uncovered by RIri. As Marvel Studios has announced no role in the series in the Marvel Universe, it is unlikely that any series will come after it. It may also happen that the readjustment of the budget can make this series into a movie budget.
