With just 15 days until the election, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are campaigning in critical battlegrounds, as new polling shows the race in a dead heat in the seven swing states.

Who Won The Debate Tonight

Harris has events today in the so-called “blue wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin alongside Liz Cheney, the former Republican congresswoman and vocal Trump critic who has endorsed the vice president.

Trump is spending the day in North Carolina, where he toured hurricane damage near Asheville before a rally this afternoon in Greenville, and later he will address faith leaders in Concord.

The former president was in battleground Pennsylvania over the weekend, where he held a photo-op a McDonald’s, and on Saturday, he made crude remarks about golf legend Arnold Palmer and called Harris a “shit vice president” at a rally in Latrobe.

Harris reacted to Trump’s remark about her on MSNBC Sunday, saying “the American people deserve so much better” and that his behavior “demeans the office” of president. Also today, the exonerated “Central Park Five” have filed a defamation lawsuit against Trump, in response to his comments at the Sept. 10 debate, when he incorrectly said the men pleaded guilty and the victim in the infamous 1989 attack had died.
