On Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 6-8pm, WHCR, 90.3FM will host and broadcast a legal forum entitled: “From Dred Scott to Trayvon Martin: What is the Law to Black America?”

Our panel of Legal Experts, Activists, and Advocates include: Attorney Michael Warren, Educator Betty Dopson of CEMOTAP, Detective Ali McBride, Attorney J. Machelle Sweeting, Attorney Anthony Johnson, along with other leaders in the fight for justice.

Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, Esq., Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and author of Race, Law and American Society: 1607 to present will be the moderator.

“FROM DRED SCOTT TO TRAYVON MARTIN: WHAT IS THE LAW TO BLACK AMERICA” will be held in the NAC ballroom at The City College of New York, located on 138th Street and Convent Ave, first floor of the NAC building.

The City College of New York is accessible by the 1, A and D trains.  Seating is limited. Those who cannot be a part of the live studio audience can log on to listen live.
