Rev. Al Sharpton and Michael A. Hardy, National Action Network’s (NAN’s) General Counsel, met with the Garner family today to make sure they were fully briefed on the allegations regarding Sanford Rubenstein and to ensure them that nothing about those allegations will distract Rev. Sharpton or National Action Network from the fight for justice for Eric Garner.
The Garner family will be with Rev. Sharpton at National Action Network’s Saturday Action rally this coming Saturday, October 11, 2014. Rev. Sharpton and the Garner family will speak about how they will proceed with legal and community leadership in the ongoing pursuit of justice for Eric Garner in light of this ongoing investigation.
