Joe Adams, former manager to soul legend Ray Charles, is being sued by the children of the late singer.
They plan to take charge of the singer's recordings and memorabilia after suing the trustees of his estate and claiming mismanagement.
The children of the late singer claim their father's legacy has been mishandled. They want to take charge of all recordings, property and artifacts relating to their father, as well as marketing decisions and issues relating to the late singer's charity foundations.
Adams was signed as manager to Ray Charles in 1961, then subsequently named head of Ray Charles Enterprises and trustee of the children's trusts following the soul man's death in June, 2004.
Mary Anne Den Bok is the attorney who filed the suit and she is also mother to Charles' youngest child, Corey.
Den Bok has filed the lawsuit in behalf of her son and nine half-brothers and sisters.
