Where She’s From: Lovely model and school teacher Nyna Black, whose Zodiac sign is Sagittarius, was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in the outskirts.
“I was born to two loving parents. They taught me no matter what, always be yourself and never depend on someone else for anything,� she tells The Black Star News.
Nyna attended Wilberforce University and received a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts Studies. “I honestly don’t consider modeling as a career at all. It’s more like a hobby and I enjoy it a lot,� she says.
In terms of where she wants to go with it? “As far as the stars will take me and my aspirations are to eventually open an Art Gallery and Tattoo Shop in the near future,� Nana says.
Where She’s At: Nana doesn’t let any obstacles slow her down. “I’ve had challenges especially being in Corporate America and being a Minority. I’ve had to prove my intelligence at numerous places of employment. It just makes me stronger as an individual and helps me push further,� she says.
Nyna’s accomplishments could fill a thick notebook. While in Middle School, Nana was a Junior News reporter for Television’s Fox 50 News Channel. She’s been Emanuel Stewart’s Kronk Boxing Ring Girl, King Mag Online She Is Girl, and she was First Runner Up in BTM Magazine Contest. “I’ve owned a few houses, attended the world’s only Tattoo School, been a Case manager and I’m also an artist and teacher,� she adds. Who ever said you couldn’t have it all?
How does this go-getter and can-do young lady prepare before she steps out? “In terms of clothing-Everything.
