Donald Trump’s Criminally Lawless Presidency is “Clear and Present Danger”

Hopefully, the above picture is where we will see Trump one day.

Donald Trump’s putrid presidency of lies, deception, and criminal corruption keeps escalating. With November nearing, this thieving conniving conman is now planning his next heist: stealing the upcoming 2020 Election right in front of the eyes of America, and the world.

Will the American people let this carnival barker clown get away with it?

The slowdown of the United States Postal Service is one of the most dastardly dirty deeds this scandalous serial lawbreaking president has perpetrated during his ruinous reign of deep deceit and division. Trump is clearly trying to take advantage of the COVID-19 crisis to steal this election—where he knows mail-in-ballots will make up a large percentage of Democratic voters.

This is why he has been railing against mail-in-ballots while voting by mail-in-ballot himself. This is also why he directs his supporters to vote in person, even telling some to illegally vote twice.

More importantly, this is why he had his Postmaster General Louis DeJoy implement new procedures that have slowed down mail delivery—while DeJoy claims he is trying to make the USPS more efficient. How does removing mail sorting machines speed up efficiency?

Lawmakers, and other legal authorities, must investigate whether Trump and DeJoy aren’t in violation of 18 U.S. Code § 1708—the law regarding the theft of or tampering with mail.

Personally, I have been waiting for a package I should’ve received several days ago. This slowdown of the mail is now being felt across America. The very lives of some Americans, particularly those who get medical supplies through the Post Office, are now at risk because of this scheme to use the post office to steal the election.

As this lawless louse of a president is doing this, he recently scurried to Kenosha, Wisconsin pretending and claiming that he is a “law and order” president. The absurdity of this laughable lie is evident to those with open ears and eyes.

Where is the “law and order” for Jacob Blake who was shot seven times in the back by officer Rusten Sheskey?

While Trump ignores this, he gives grandstanding lectures about lawlessness and leftist radicalism. But, even worse, he excuses right-wing white vigilante murderers, like Kyle Rittenhouse—who was recorded committing outright murder. Republicans are equally hypocritical in their silence here.

None of them are addressing the white supremacist violence that Rittenhouse represents or the racist police violence that may render Blake paralyzed for life. The police and prosecutors are now telling us Blake admitted to having a knife—supposedly, sometime after his body was filled with police bullets from Sheskey’s gun. The lies of police are just as ridiculous as those coming from Trump.

In defending Rittenhouse, Trump said this vigilante “was trying to get away from them, I guess, it looks like. I guess he was in very big trouble. He probably would have been killed.”

Of course, the real truth is when Rittenhouse was being chased he had already committed murder shooting Joseph Rosenbaum and seriously wounding Gaige Grosskreutz. Rittenhouse was chased by Anthony Huber after he killed Rosenbaum. Huber had no weapon, just his skateboard, when Rittenhouse then also gunned Huber down. Huber was trying to prevent Rittenhouse from getting away with Rosenbaum’s murder.

However, only the “alternative facts” that fit the fictions and fantasies of Trump and his immoral imps matter. Trump’s connection to racist right-wingers has been evident all along.

One of the most horrific policies of Trump has been his immigration child separation policy. White House advisor Stephen Miller, the main architect of this policy, has been outed by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a vile white supremacist. Despite much documented evidence of Miller’s white nationalist views, Trump has steadfastly defended Miller.

However, we should all remember Trump’s statement defending the “very fine” racists in Charlottesville who killed Heather Heyer. Just like we should remember how he pretended not to know KKK grand wizard David Duke who recently endorsed Trump again for a second term.

Moreover, we should not forget that Trump’s whole political platform was, and is, based on racism. He started by peddling the bigoted Birther lie to tap into the white racist hatred that many in white America had for the nation’s first Black President Barack Obama. The “build the wall” chant, and his Muslim ban calls, are all extensions of his central racist call to “make America great again,” meaning: more white again.

Therefore, Trump doesn’t care about the racist violence Black Americans face, especially, by police. This is the reality regardless of what Black political opportunists, like Senator Tim Scott, who benefit individually from their proximity to Trump, say.

Imagine, right now, Trump can’t even bring himself to say the names Jacob Blake, George Floyd of Breonna Taylor. Since when is Donald Trump a moral authority on anything?

Let’s remember a few other things here. This is the man who boldly admitted that he has criminally assaulted women. He told American women that he likes to “Grab them by the pussy.” Numerous women have accused him of sexual harassment and assault.

This is also a president who was credibility impeached. If no one was really above the law, Trump would be wearing prison stripes now. The only reason he isn’t is because the Republican “rule of law,” purportedly, “country before party” leaders are actively aiding-and-abetting Trump’s presidential criminality.

The evidence shows Trump used his presidential power to pressure and extort Ukraine to manufacture dirt on Joe Biden to win this coming election. Having escaped any consequences for such an egregiously corrupt act, he is now messing with the mail to steal this election.

Before the Ukraine extortion blackmail scandal, Trump fired then FBI Director Jim Comey because Comey wouldn’t show “loyalty” and help Trump’s criminal buddy Michael Flynn. Like Comey, then U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions was fired because he wouldn’t use his Department of Justice position to quash the Russia probe. Trump expected Sessions to pervert justice, as Trump’s current criminal crony Bill Barr is now doing.

Since the protests following George Floyd’s murder, Trump has given the nation empty words about stopping the violence. The police violence that is the central cause of the protests is never mentioned.

Trump has outrightly promoted police brutality once telling police on Long Island, during an immigration speech, “Don’t be too nice” with those being taken into police custody.

Shockingly, polls suggest that some Americans prefer Trump on the question of stopping the violence and “law and order.” We should remind them of Trump’s calls for violence when it furthers his political ambitions.

At many of his rallies, before becoming president, Trump often encouraged violence toward protesters and hecklers. He talked about punching people in the face; putting people in stretchers—and said he would pay the legal fees of those who carried out these assaults.

In one of his more infamous quotes, Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.” What kind of sick sadistic mind conceives and says something like this? Does this sound like somebody who really cares about lawlessness?

The latest outrage is the Atlantic story which reports Trump called dead Army soldiers “losers” and “suckers.” Despite Trump’s denials, we know how he disparaged Sen. John McCain and how insensitive Army Sgt. La David Johnson’s wife said he spoke after her husband’s killing.

The supreme irony here is: Trump attacked Colin Kaepernick for taking a knee to protest police violence and racism, claiming it showed disrespect for the military. Meanwhile, he says absolutely nothing about allegations that Russia was paying bounties for the heads of dead American soldiers.

Donald Trump is the epitome of lawlessness—and is a clear and present danger to America.

The only question now is whether white Americans will again be suckered into voting for him and his racist agenda.
