The popular dance reality show Dancing with the Stars season 33 is all set for the final war. The night of 26 December will witness the electrifying performance of the top five couples who have made all the possibilities to crown themselves as the winner and register their name as dancing with the star season 33 campaign.
The semi-was not easy for the couples, as there were a total of two rounds in the semi-final name ballroom and it was attended by all the couples. Later the co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that all the five couples were going to the finals and no one was eliminated on that day. The top 5 couples Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Ilona Maher with Alan Bersten, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, and Stephen Nedoroscik with Rylee Arnold went to the finals. Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach bid adieu last week from the show.
Top five couples’ performance in the semi-finals
The five sets of couples have tried almost all forms including Salsa to foxtrot to win the hearts of the judges. They are giving their 100% to bring the Goodman Mirrorball Trophy home.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong
Chandler Kinney is a Disney star, with her moves and determination towards dance she proved to the people she is not just a Disney star she is much more than that. Her electrifying Salsa moves were literally mouth-opening. To watch the authentic Salsa dance Chandler Kinney and her partner Brandon Armstrong went to different local salsa and got more knowledge about different moves. Judges were totally impressed with their performance and recognized their efforts towards their dance. However, in the second round, Chandler performed for foxtrot, which gave her a score of 29 out of 30. Chandler Kinney’s journey from a Disney princess to a dance queen is truly inspiring.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson
Joey Graziadei who is known as The Bachelor’s heartthrob made his entry in Dancing With The Stars as a digital sensation but he will leave the show as a dance sensation. From having a very pretty face to developing new dance skills Joey Graziadei has come a long way. His Foxtrot performance was so extraordinary that one of the judges Derek Hough, remarked it as one of the best dances he has ever seen in Dancing with the Stars history. Bruno Tonioli, another judge, almost became speechless after witnessing the perfect dance moves of Joey. The couple set the bar very high with 30 out of 30 points they got after the dance which became very challenging for other competitors. Whereas in the second dance, Paso doble the couple got 28 out of 30 which was also not bad.
Ilona Maher with Alan Bersten
Ilona Maher, the Olympic rugby player is proving herself as perfect whether it be her match field or a dance stage, she is always ready to set the platform on fire. Her strength and dedication were clearly seen in her masterpiece Paso Doble. The journey of an athlete to becoming a dancer was not that easy as the judge Carrie Ann Inaba stated after watching Ilona’s performance that “Ilona has proved her worth in different ways every time.”
Ilona and her partner Alan Bersten mix up a beautiful pair and their chemistry was literally outstanding. Their performance in Dancing with the Stars was a transformation for both of them. Remarkable performance in the second round, Viennese Waltz was a powerful package of 180, reflecting her talent. Judges remarked on her with 29 out of 30 on her unimaginable transformation and continuous growth.
Danny Amendola and Witney Carson
Danny Amendola brings back his competitive spirit on the floor of dancing with the stars. His presence on the floor of dancing with the stars made the competition tougher. His first performance, Viennese Waltz, was a combination of versatility, and emotional vulnerability. Their second performance was mouth-opening as the judges Danny and Pro partner Witney Carson jumped up with excitement after watching the performance. His leopard print floral shirt and the same hat became very popular.
Stephen Nedoroscik with Rylee Arnold
The very popular Olympic gymnastics player, Stephen Nedoroscik, and his partner Rylee Arnold are the last couple in the top 5 couple list who are going to perform in the finale of Dancing with the Stars season 33. The very determined couple scored 25 out of 30 in their first round of dance. Their second performance, Tango, was a total game-changer. In the middle of the performance, Stephens’s glasses flew off, in spite of that also he won Carrie Ann’s heart, and got a perfect score of 10. She also declared their dance as magic.
