According to the latest press release issued by ABC Network, the finale of the 33rd season will be three hours long and the five finalists will be giving two performances. The first round will be a dance assigned by the judges of the show while the other will be a freestyle performance. The first performance of the night according to the finale line-up will be a number choreographed by Ray Leeper on the song “Holiday” by Madonna followed by the dances from the contestants that will decide the fate of this season’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

The songs that are chosen by each finalist of the show for the second round have also been revealed to the audience. The following is the list of songs chosen by the finalists.

  • Danny and Witney: “Pink” by Lizzo along with “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling. 
  • Joey and Jenna: “Canned Heat” by District 78 featuring Jake Simpsons.
  • Chandler and Brandon: “Hellzapoppin” by Eyal Vilner Big Band and “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.
  • Rylee and Stephen: “Viva La Vida” by the band Coldplay. 
  • Alan and Ilona: “Femininomenon” by District 78 featuring Mona Rue,

How Will The DWTS Winner Be Decided?

After a no-elimination semi-finale, it is revealed that the scores earned by the contestants on the day of the semi-final will be added to the score of the contestants on the finale in order to determine the winner who will be lifting the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. The first round of the finale is expected to test the versatility of the contestants while the second round will let them showcase their skills.
