Cleansing And Gerald Levert

Alternative or holistic physicians employ natural healing methods that treat the whole person and address underlying issues behind specific diseases. Thus, they have a much higher overall success rate when it comes to treating and preventing heart disease.

[Health: Op-Ed] There are at least 10 major causes of death within American society that we constantly read about in the media today. However, what we don’t always hear about is how greatly these causes of death directly affect the African American community, much less what to do about the problems.

All of such are preventable and even curable through aggressive, alternative methods such as cleansing. Our Black men are in grave danger particularly. Just take a look at the unfortunate premature demise of well-known Gerald Levert from heart failure. The American Heart Association revealed that heart and blood vessel disease affects African American men at much higher rates, and that they are 94% more likely to die from strokes than their white counterparts.

The main reason why heart conditions are improperly addressed through conventional methods is that there is too much emphasis placed on less important factors such as cholesterol levels, rather than focusing on overall heart health.
In contrast, alternative or holistic physicians employ natural healing methods that treat the whole person and address underlying issues behind specific diseases. Thus, they have a much higher overall success rate when it comes to treating and preventing heart disease.

Cleansing is an intricate part of this. Today, there is an insurmountable amount of scientific evidence that verify what these holistic practitioners have known for decades and what we as African Americans need to know. We must come to realize that, not only is heart disease treatable and reversible when you use proper treatment methods, but it is also very easy to prevent from happening in the beginning.

A question worthy of asking is – Do we stand a chance? Of course not if we don’t commit to lifestyle changes with focus on prevention. We must seek out of alternative methods of treatment that empower us to make a difference in our own lives, instead of relying on a solution from mainstream society.

The bottom line is that cleansing and detoxifying your body is your very own secret weapon. Don’t sit back and allow yourself to be the next Black person dead at 40.
