Many girls went to the Texas Hill County for a summer camp, but are reportedly missing. During the summer camp, the weather conditions on the hill deteriorated, and heavy rain took over the whole area. However, the rain was not just heavy, but it covered the intensity equal to a month’s rain. This led to a flash flood, due to which a dozen girls have gone missing in the high waves of the river. As per reports, 23 girls are missing, while the Guadalupe River is overflowing due to heavy rainfall. The sudden flood washed away the buildings and cabins made at Camp Mystic. Other than that, 700 girls were present at the camp when this incident happened but were rescued before any other unfortunate incident occurred.
Other than this, many other towns like Hunt are hit by a similar density of rainfall, i.e., a 6.5-foot rise in the water level in less than 2 hours. Moreover, heavy rainfall is expected to continue till Saturday, with the hope that no other significant change will not observed.
