Baltimore Ravens dominance over Buffalo Bills

The winning team on Sunday was the Baltimore Ravens, and the biggest highlight of the match was Derrick Henry. Henry had one of the best performances on Sunday. He tallied 199 rushing yards and 10 receiving yards and scored a total of two touchdowns. His last week’s performance over the Dallas Cowboys saw a few touchdowns and picking up 151 rushing yards.

Derrick Henry debuted Sunday’s match against the Bills with an 87-yard touchdown(which is, by the way, the best Raven performance till now).

But he was not the only Raven player that shone through the night. Justice Hill scored a touchdown. Another player, Lamar Jackson, contributed to the Ravens’ win with a 54-yard size and three touchdowns.

Josh Allen’s Brilliant Defence to the Ravens

Although the Buffalo Bills faced their first loss in the NFL on Sunday, Josh Allen shone through the match. In a game that seemed one-sided in the first two quarters, Josh Allen made a pass in the game that can be called the best contender pass of this 2024 year.

Josh Allen made a remarking yet surprising pass to keep his team alive in week 4 of the National Football League(NFL). The Buffalo Bills were trailing behind the Baltimore Ravens in the third quarter of the match by a score of 3-21.

The Buffalo Bills had 3rd-and-5 at their own 45 on their half’s opening drive. Josh Allen had to run all the way to the sides. Ravens players seemed to come on him as he tried to hurl the football towards his way. Instead of giving up the ball, to avoid more yards, Josh Allen found the Bills wide receiver player Khalil Shakir for a 52-yard gain.

His throw, which can be called the best throw of this year, was difficult for many obvious reasons. Allen had to maintain his body posture as several Ravens defenders were entering into his orbit. Khalil Shakir may have been in that position to make that shot, but only a rare of players have the strength that Josh Allen poses to have.

Because of this stunning shot of Josh Allen, the Bills could score a touchdown that brought the score to 10-21 in that third quarter. Josh Allen’s performance in the third quarter gave the Bills a push in what was seeming like a one-sided match for the first two quarters.

The Buffalo Bills trailed by three touchdowns. The final score after four quarters was 35-10, which several of Bill’s admirers blamed on the head coach Sean McDermott’s decision in the first half of the match.

Buffalo Bills Dubious Call in the first half against the Ravens?

The Bills left many of its supporters confused on their week 4 match on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. At the game’s onset, the Bills had 4 and 1 on their 39 yards. The team executed a run for Josh Allen, who managed 3 yards to get the three points. The team scored 3 points in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Bills team was in exactly the same situation as at the game’s onset. The Bills again had 4th and 1 at their 39-yard lines. The only difference was the score, which was 14-3 at that point. Instead of having more fighting spirit due to the two-touchdown difference, the head coach, Sean McDermott, opted for his players to punt the football.

The Bills moved around the football field in four of their five first-half possessions against the Baltimore Ravens, which caused the Bills to trail 21-3 at halftime.

With key players like Josh Allen at the centre, the Bills had one of the best options to attack at the quarterback. However, McDermott’s decision to stay conservative and not fight for the touchdowns at the beginning of the game is heavily criticised by their fans.

What’s Next?

The Baltimore Ravens, in their week 5 of NFL, will face Cincinnati Bengals on 6th October at Paycor Stadium. The Buffalo Bills will play against Houston Texans on 6th October at NRG Stadium, Houston.
