To compete for the Borough President’s Cup, players on each youth baseball team had to meet a set of requirements unrelated to their performance on the field, including a B-average in school, 90 percent or greater school attendance and a demonstrated commitment to community service.

Bronx Borough President Diaz will host the annual Borough President’s Cup Youth Baseball Family Celebration.
On Sunday, November 24, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and Robin White, AT&T’s Director of NYC and Westchester External Affairs, will host their annual celebration for the youth baseball teams who participated in this year’s Borough President’s Cup – co-champions the Bronxchester Realtors and Grand Slam Little League.
The celebration will take place at the Tosca Marquee at 4034 East Tremont Avenue, in the Bronx. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and will be attended by players, their families and their coaches.
During the event, AT&T will present each team with a gift card to Modell’s Sporting Goods to help pay for equipment for the upcoming season.
