MODEL OF THE DAY
Where She’s From: Twenty-one year-old Beautiful Brittony Morton, a Scorpio, was
born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. “I’ve lived in Jacksonville my whole life, she tells The Black Star News.
Brittony attended First Coast High School. “While attending school I got pregnant with my now two-year-old son,â€? she explains. “Really, everyone thought that my life was over and that I was gonna become a failure. But I proved everyone wrong, who didn’t believe in me, because I did graduate. And I love my son to death. He is my life and what keeps me going each and everyday.â€?
Where She’s At: Encouraged by her sisters, Paris and Ashley, both models, Brittony too started modeling about a year ago—she first had to overcome her shyness. “I consider my modeling stage to be at a beginning point, and I know that I have a lot to learn and a lot of areas to improve in,â€? she says. “To be quite honest my whole life has been a challenge. I’ve conquered the challenges by always keeping God first. I also prayed each and every night for things to get better and I worked hard to be were I’m at today.â€? Brittony has just completed a shoot for a magazine cover.
So how does young Brittony prepare to step out? “I love to wear Amber Romance lotion by Victoria’s Secret. I also love heavenly perfume—I really just love everything from Victoria’s Secret. Everything smells so good there, even their lip gloss. But one store I love to shop at is Forever 21. That’s my favorite place to shop.â€?
Brittony’s Words Of Wisdom: “Always keep God first and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If they do, just work harder to prove them wrong.
Brittony’s Secrets Of Success: “It’s never let anyone get in your way—always stay positive.
The First Three Things Brittony Would Do As President: “The first thing I would do is to end world hunger, come up with some kind of program for homeless parents to get back on their feet, and to raise minimum wage—because what some people make today, you really can’t make a nice living off of that.
