In 2020, supermarkets and grocery stores accounted for nearly 86 percent of the retail food and beverage market. Research indicates that edible grocery sales were valued at nearly $3 trillion in 2021 and are expected to grow by almost $600 billion by 2026.

Yet, for many food and beverage brands, it can feel nearly impossible to get their product into stores. Navigator Sales & Marketing, the Black-owned food and beverage broker, works with brands of all sizes to help them do just that.

The brand recently made a strategic move that positions them to be a bigger player in the industry.

By launching Accelerated Retail Sales Group, their merchandising service division, the brokerage firm expanded their staff by 700 percent, thus turning them into a full-service brokerage firm that not only grooms brands for potential retailers, but can act as an in-store activation team, giving their clients direct access to stores.

Navigator is the first Black-owned brokerage to achieve such a milestone.
