An investigation is being launched, in Pittsburgh, after a fight broke out between two white people and a Black man—who was assaulted and slapped by an out-of-control white woman, during Saturday night’s Steelers’ game.
In a viral clip, the belligerent “Karen” is shown telling the Black man “You can get the F-ck out,” while she puts her hands on him. The Black man tells her “Don’t touch me.” She then proceeds to slap him.
From there things escalated quickly.
A white man sitting with her also attempts to assault the Black man—who then unleashes several punches pummeling both of his white assailants. One of the first punches landed by the Black man was delivered to the face of the white woman who slapped him. The Black man then delivered several blows to the face of the white man. The Black man then stops. Cooler heads intervened and an apparent stadium security officer then arrives on the scene.
Several fans can be heard saying to the security officer “she slapped him first in his face” and “she hit him first.”
It is unclear if anyone was arrested after the fisticuffs. The identities of the brawlers have not been released.
