The Black Coalition for Rights in Brazil will denounce President Jair Bolsonaro before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes of responsibility, which today aggravate the policy of genocide against the Afro-descendant segment of the population.
News media assure that the complaint before that court based in the Netherlands will request the removal of the far-right president presented by the movement on August 12 in the Chamber of Deputies.
The focus of the accusations will be the weakening of the life of the Black population in the cities and also in the Quilombola (Afro-Brazilian) communities, considered traditional.
Made up of 150 organizations and collectives, the coalition denounces that crimes escalated during the Covid-19 pandemic, neglected by the government and that so far has claimed more than 108 thousand deaths in the South American giant.
