Bill S. Pereira, CEO & President, IDT Telecom, a subsidiary of IDT Corporation, Herndon, VA, and Newark, NJ, is a new member of the Berkeley College Board of Trustees.

Bill S. Pereira has been appointed to the the Berkeley College Board of Trustees, Board Chairman Kevin L. Luing has announced.
Mr. Pereira has more than 20 years of experience in global product development, management, investment and financial services. As Chief Executive Officer and President of IDT Telecom, a subsidiary of IDT Corporation, Herndon, VA, and Newark, NJ, he leads all aspects of this global business on six continents, focusing on strategy, product, personnel development and technology.
Prior to this, Mr. Pereira served as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, IDT Corporation. He was Chief Financial Officer for Winstar Communications, LLC, a wireless subsidiary of IDT Corporation. His earlier career positions included Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Horizon Trading Group LLC; Director, Product Management, UBS – Warburg Dillon Read, London, England; and Director, Investment Services – Treasurer’s Group, Prudential Financial, Newark, NJ.
Mr. Pereira received an MBA in Finance/International Business from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and a BBA in Economics from Rutgers University, School of Arts & Sciences. He currently resides in Far Hills, New Jersey.
