New York, NY (Sunday, November 6, 2022) – President Biden sat down for a one-on-one interview with Rev. Al Sharpton Sunday to tell Black Americans how the Biden-Harris administration has delivered for them in less than two years in office.

The President’s message comes just days before the 2022 midterm elections, which are viewed as a referendum on the safety of democracy in the United States.

Audio of Biden’s interview was played last night on Rev. Sharpton’s Politics Nation at 5 p.m. EDT on MSNBC. It will re-air on Monday’s episode of Keepin’ It Real with Rev. Al Sharpton.

The President highlighted some of the major actions taken by the Biden-Harris administration since taking office in January 2021. Those include the May 2022 executive order on accountability for federal law enforcement, which Rev. Sharpton advocated for in the wake of the murder of George Floyd nearly two years earlier. The National Action Network (NAN) also advocated for the recent decisions on student debt relief and pardoning federal charges for simple marijuana possession.
