AZANIA, Hailed As Mix Of Whitney And Adele, Hits Joe’s PUB

INTERNATIONAL SOUL/JAZZ SONGSTRESS AZANIA IN CONCERT AT JOE’S PUB at the “Aputumpu Music Festival” Friday, March 29th at 9:00pm in New York City.

Azania’s award-winning and captivating voice has been described as a mixture of Whitney Houston and Adele, that has moved audiences to tears and brought them to their feet uplifted by her energy and positive spirit. Her rich music is a blend of soul, jazz and funk interlaced with beautiful ballads, and her insightful lyrics carry meaningful messages.

Originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Azania has been lighting up stages in Europe, the U.S., Africa and Asia for many years. She has not only been invited to sing in legendary venues such as the Blue Note jazz club in NY and in world-renown music festivals, but she has also entertained the Presidents of several countries. 

Friday’s concert will feature some songs from her upcoming album to be released this year and she will be accompanied by: Shawn Whitley (bass), Justin Mathews (guitar), Lucianna Padmore (drums), Paul Wilson (keyboards) and Royale Mosley (vocals), plus a special guest.
