I must disagree with the rosy assessments of the late Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary General published on the Black Star News.

When the United States Airforce kidnapped Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide and dumped him off in the Central African Republic Mr. Kofi Annan and the United Nations remained silent. The U.S. used and is still using the world body as a surrogate for what is an American occupation in disguise.

In addition to his lacks response to the Rwanda tragedy, when he was Under-Secretary General in charge of peace keeping operations, Mr. Annan consistently followed policies that were dictated by the U.S.

Annan’s wonderful personality is no excuse for collaborating with imperial ambitions while pretending to be objective and neutral. The people deserve more than a false and dressed up image of a powerful actor who only followed America’s orders.
