On December 2, his agency, Big Title, and Korean media sources revealed his cause of death to be cardiac arrest. The actor was 32 years old. According to reports, the actor passed away on November 29, 2024, on his way to China. Following the news of his death, his talent agency verified the reports and added that he was a talented actor who enjoyed acting and always gave his best. They mentioned how although they may not get to see him on the big screen anymore, they will always remember him and the commendable work he has done so far.
His agency mentioned that he did not suffer from any major health issues. His sudden demise is, therefore, very shocking to his friends and family, as well as to his fans. However, the agency prayed for his soul to rest in peace and urged fans to give his family and friends the much-needed privacy.
Park Min Jae’s agency and the CEO also shared an earnest post on social media platforms. The CEO expressed his condolences and mentioned how he had a lot to say and share with the actor. He mentioned how Park Jae-Hyung was a person who wanted to leave his mark on China with his iconic performances. He wanted to take a month-long trip later, however, he left the world too soon. He expressed his gratitude for having worked with the commendable actor, even if it was for a short period of time. Finally, he mentioned how he would not ever forget the name Park Min Jae.
His younger brother, Park Jae-Hyung took to social media platforms on December 2, to inform everyone about the demise. Recalling his brother fondly, he asked people to attend his brother’s wake and prayed that his soul rest peacefully. He also informed fans that they will not be able to address everyone individually, as it is a difficult time for their family. Park Min Jae’s wake shall be held on December 4, 2024, at the funeral hall of Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital. The funeral is to be held at 9:30 AM.
