Lisa Joy, the executive producer of Fallout 2 made the confirmation through her Instagram story. After that Ella Purnell, the lead character of the series gave a quick update about her being in Los Angeles and was ready for shooting the movie once again.

There is no official confirmation about the exact release date of Fallout season 2. As we look back on the history of the release date of Fallout season 1, the shoot for season 1 continuously took place for almost eight and a half months.
