When it comes to video game companies, you know that Naughty Dog is a pretty well-known name. All of us have grown up playing games by Naughty Dog and all those games seem like an important part of our lives. The best thing is that we can still play these games today since they are available to download online on platforms such as the PlayStation Store. All you need is a fast internet connection to download those games as quickly as possible.
In that case, we would suggest that you look into Xfinity Internet Packages to get a fair deal so that you can play the game as much as you like. Once your internet connection is sorted, you can purchase and download these games on your console.
Today, we will be talking about some of the most iconic games that Naughty Dog has created that we think you should play. Some of these games have been turned into movie and TV show adaptations as well, so try to figure out which is which!
So, without any further ado, let’s get into it!
1. The Last of Us
It would only make sense to start the list with The Last of Us when discussing Naughty Dog. The Last of Us is undeniably the most iconic game ever created by Naughty Dog. Even though the game came out in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, people love playing it today just as much. The game was remastered to the PlayStation 5 with the best possible graphics and the game was renamed The Last of Us Part I.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic USA, which has been struck by a mutated version of the Cordyceps fungus, which has the ability of mind control, causing a zombie-like apocalypse. A smuggler called Joel Miller is tasked to smuggle a girl called Ellie across the country because she holds the cure to the outbreak. The journey both of them share is beyond beautiful. The story was so good that it was adapted for a TV show by HBO under the same name starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. If you have watched the show, then you should definitely play the game as well!
2. Uncharted 2
Among the Uncharted series, I would say that my personal favorite out of all the parts is the second one, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. There was just something about the game that really spoke to me, and I enjoyed every second of the game. It had a super exhilarating start to the game, something that inspired the hanging train scene in the latest Mission Impossible movie. Not only was the story brilliant in Uncharted 2 but the gameplay was off the charts as well.
In the game, Nathan Drake is out looking for the road to Shambala, which will take him to the Cintamani Stone. However, things take a very different turn and Nate has the adventure of a lifetime. The way that the story progresses in the game is just amazing and the guardians of Shambala, towards the end of the game, are just a huge headache to deal with.

3. Jak and Daxter
Jak and Daxter are among the games that we have played as we were growing up. The game was first released in the early 2000s when the PlayStation 2 was released. The game is set in a fictional world where there are humans with elf-like ears. Among those people are two friends, Jak and Daxter, with Jak being the main character (though he doesn’t speak at all throughout the game), and his best friend Daxter, who is a talkative, chubby young boy.
However, Daxter accidentally falls into a pool of dark eco and is turned into a hybrid animal called an “Ottsel,” a cross between an Otter and a Weasel. Throughout the game, Jak looks for power cells so that they can somehow restore Daxter to his original state. The game is actually a pretty light-hearted one, the kind that you would probably enjoy.
4. The Last of Us Part II
There are pretty conflicted opinions about this one, but I would still say you should at least play it once. The game is brilliant in terms of the gameplay but when it comes to the story, it is a bit underwhelming. We expected better from Naughty Dog with this one but if you want a thrilling sort of gameplay, then this is the game for you. You get to play as Ellie for half of the game, and you play the other half as Abby. If you haven’t played the game, then you should so that you can figure out who Abby is.
You would be glad to know that HBO is currently working on the second season of The Last of Us and the second season is going to be based on The Last of Us Part II, and we can’t wait for it to come!
It’s actually pretty rare that Naughty Dog ever manages to let us down with a game. They have created games that have been an integral part of our childhood, such as Jak and Daxter. Then, there were also games that swept us off our feet, like The Last of Us and Uncharted 4.
