The first-ever NFL game to be played in Canada took place in a Week 14 meeting involving the Miami Dolphins as well as the Buffalo Bills. Even though it was a Bills home game, the Dolphins dominated from the beginning to the end. QB Chad Pennington’s land pass put them ahead, and they added scores with an extra point, along the defense played the Bills only to 3 points from a field goal, giving the Dolphins an easy 16-3 victory.
After winning, the Dolphins were 8-5 and rose to the top of the AFC East, where they maintained a tie alongside the New England Patriots and the New York Jets.
With 3 games left in the season, they are now confident of having a winning percentage of more than 50% for the very first time since 2001 after their 8th victory of the year.

The Bills, however, were totally dominated and lost after attempting to score an extra point for the second consecutive game. With an overall record of 6 wins and 7 losses, they are now in the last spot in the AFC East after suffering their sixth defeat in their previous 7 matches.
The Dolphins took a 7-0 lead in the 1st quarter after driving 54 yards in 7 plays on their next control, such as a 13-yard throw from Pennington to broad receiver Devon Bess. Pennington then finished with a 20-yard touchdown pass for tight end Anthony Fasano.
Following a rush, quarterback J.P. Lossman rushed for 17 yards on the Bills’ following assault. Rossman then threw to wide receiver Steve Johnson for Fourteen yards, resulting in 40 yards in 9 plays. Lastly, kicker Ryan Lindell made a 40-yard from goal to tie the game at 7-3.

Pennington tossed an 18-yard pass to defensive end David Martin on the Dolphins’ next offensive drive. He subsequently threw a different 18-yard pass in the 2nd quarter, gaining 38 yards in 8 plays, and kicker Dan Carpenter made a 50-yard point-after to score it 10-3 and extend the lead by 7 points.
Shortly after 7 minutes into the 2nd quarter, the Dolphins took control at their own 32-yard line. Rushing back Ricky Williams ran for 22 yards, Pennington passed to Bess for 15 yards, and fullback Rusaka Polite ran for 2 yards to escape a 4th down and 1-yard challenge. The Dolphins then advanced 51 yards in 15 plays in roughly 7 and a half minutes, with Pennington hitting quarterback Ronnie Brown with a 15-yard throw. In the final minute of the 1st half, Carpenter made a 35-yard field goal to increase their lead to 13-3.
The Bills began their 2nd offensive in the 3rd quarter of the 2nd half from their own 33-yard line. They progressed to the Dolphins’ 3-yard line after touchdowns from Rossman towards wide receiver Josh Reed of 11 as well as 23 yards and a 10-yard rush by Rossman.
