Fighting massive proposed budget cuts to the NYC Parks and Recreation Department, DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts and DC 37 Secretary Cliff Koppelman were joined by Dilcy Benn, president, NYC Attendant, Park Service Workers, City Park
Workers & Debris Removers Local 1505, and Geoffrey Croft, founder, New York City Parks Advocates, to condemn proposed cuts in the city’s preliminary budget for Fiscal year 2012 and discuss its harmful impact on parks, playgrounds, pools, beaches and recreation centers citywide.
