HBCU Track & Field Showcase Takes Place At New York’s The Armory

The Armory Foundation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Showcase for men and women will take place Saturday, January 13th at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory, in New York.

The HBCU Showcase, sponsored by KPMG, will stream live on Peacock from 3-5pm, and feature more than 25 premier HBCU track and field programs from across the country. Additionally, the meet will feature performances by the Howard University Marching Band, and Norfolk State University Men’s Step Team along with a college admissions fair for NYC high school students. The HBCU Showcase offers a unique opportunity for HBCU college admissions representatives to interact with students, while also allowing students to gain insights into an HBCU education and an early view into career opportunities with firms like KPMG.

Saturday, January 13th

Races will be taking place on Saturday, January 13 9am – 5pm

Performances by the Howard University Marching Band and Norfolk State University Men’s Step Team.

  • National track & field powerhouse Florida A&M University along with 27 other HBCU programs are among the schools scheduled to compete in the HBCU Showcase
