NBA star LeBron James has renewed his calls that all the officers involved in murdering Breonna Taylor be arrested and charged.

James spoke out after a Thursday NBA scrimmage between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

“I want to continue to shed light on justice for Breonna Taylor and to her family and everything that’s going on with that situation,” James said.

He also called for the arrest of the officers involved in Taylor’s murder.

“As one of the leaders of this league, I want her family to know, and I want the state of Kentucky to know that we feel for her and we want justice,” James said. “What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong.”

Taylor, 26, was shot eight times and killed in an alleged botched drug raid. No drugs were found. One officer has been fired. None has been charged.

Addressing controversial issues surrounding race is something James has not shied away from.

After Trayvon Martin was murdered by George Zimmerman, James and his then Miami Heat teammates, tweeted a picture with them wearing hoodies.

After a grand jury failed to indict Darren Wilson for the killing of Michael Brown, James said, “As a society how do we do better and stop things like this happening time after time. I’m so sorry to these families.”

James also wore an “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirt after the murder of Eric Garner and explained his intentions saying “It was a message to the family that I’m sorry for their loss, sorry to his wife and that’s what it’s about.”

This week, a voting rights group that James founded, More Than A Vote, has just paid $100,000 to help pay the outstanding fines of felons in Florida–so they can vote. The donation will be given to the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition.

James played in Florida for four seasons with the Miami Heat winning his first two championships.

Famously, in 2017, James came to the aid of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry when he was being attacked by Donald Trump for not wanting to go to the White House.

James in an infamous tweet said, “U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!”
