As part of the Constituency for Africa’s (CFA) efforts to introduce the African Union’s new Permanent Representative to the United States, Dr. Arikana Chihombori Quao, to stakeholders from the Diaspora in Washington, CFA today brought a delegation to meet with the Ambassador in the African Union Mission in Northwest Washington, D.C.

Delegates represented a cross-section of stakeholders with interest in a number of areas including policy advocacy, business and trade, healthcare infrastructure development, higher education, not-for-profit and faith-based.

Ambassador Chihombori discussed the vision for the AU Mission in Washington and her priorities for engagement.  Mobilizing and engaging the African Diaspora will be at the top of her agenda in Washington and the United States.
