The Brooklyn campus of Jeremiah Program (JP), and Groundswell NYC will be hosting a Community Paint Day program to discuss and collaborate on the painting of a new mural that embodies the values, vision, and voices of the JP Brooklyn community.

The event will take place Thursday, August 7 and will run from 1:30 –3:30 PM.
The national non-profit Jeremiah Program has been one of the most successful programs at tackling generational poverty among single mothers and their children. The Jeremiah Program will be collaborating with Groundswell NYC to host this six-week mural making event for youths in New York City. The event will be part of Groundswell’s Summer Leadership Institute (SLI).
The Jeremiah Program (JP) is a national organization dedicated to changing the cycle of impoverishment that single mothers and the children face. The organization actively serves over 2,000 moms and children across nine cities: Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; Fargo, ND-Moorhead, MN; Las Vegas, NV; Minneapolis, MN; Rochester, MN; and St. Paul, MN.
