Starbucks releases a limited edition Firework Frappuccino all 4th of July, a red, white and blue drink
Starbucks is getting into the Fourth of July spirit with a new drink that’s full of patriotic flair. Starting Tuesday, July 1, the coffee giant is launching the limited-edition Fireworks Frappuccino. It’s a red, white and blue drink inspired by the US flag.
Starbucks promotes social sharing of these holiday drinks using the #JulyFrappuccino hashtag for the launch, creating a social atmosphere. “There really is nothing like enjoying a cold and colorful Frappuccino with friends and family on a warm July day,” Jones explained.
The limited-edition July Frappuccino will be around up until July 7, while stocks last. Starbucks have a firework Frappuccino
Starbucks released a new Firework Frappuccino for the fourth of July. The Red White and blue Frappuccino is made with the Starbucks Summer Berry Refresher, which is a mix of coconut milk poured raspberry flavour pearls, giving it fizzing, candy like burst. It is topped by a swirl of strawberry puree and a layer of vanilla sweet cream cold foam for a sweet touch, according to US today.
In a press release, Starbucks manager, Amanda Conaway, who helped create the drink said “it’s summer vacation in a cup”. She added “from the popping pearls to the creamy vanilla sweet cream, it is a texture beverage inspired by the sights and sound of the summer.
At the festival ring is only available for a week, until July 17.
Other new Frappuccino coming to Starbucks
The Firework Frappuccino is just the beginning Starbucks July lineup. It is one of the four Frappuccino’s the coffee chain has teased for the summer. Red White and blue firework Frappuccino arriving just in time for independence Day, drinks will be release latest in the month.
These are the salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino, the Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino and the Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino. Each is a bold, layered drink designed to keep you cool and caffeinated through the summer. More sweet treat to come in July.
Starbucks Summer menu 2025: more new Frappuccino is coming
If you loved the Firework Frappuccino, you’re in luck. Starbucks has more in store for you. The patriotic drink is one of four new Frappuccino beverages Starbucks announced would be coming in July.
The other three drinks will be dropping later this month:
- Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino
- Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino
- Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino
The new Frappuccino flavors come just months after Starbucks pulled nine Frappuccino flavors and other drinks from the menu. The menu changes coincided with the end of the open-door policy, both part of CEO Brian Niccol’s “Back to Starbucks” initiative to turn around U.S. operations.
Another part of the initiative, which kicked in June 24, is an 80-cent fee for any additional syrup or sauce to an unflavored drink. This doesn’t apply to added or substituted sauces or syrups to a preflavored drink. For example: You can add vanilla syrup to a mocha for free, but you’ll have to pay 80 cents to add vanilla syrup to a plain iced coffee.
