the black list

For a perfect polished look rather for work or play, black will always be a key choice. Were not talking dull, were talking bold sophistication, rebellious glam and taking your black statement pieces and adding a splash of color  for a funky mix.

Okay lets just get one thing straight, Solange hair cut is about style and comfort. I give the style a hell yes. We have no clue why Britney shaved her head but I respect her for being brave. Also, Britney did not invent the low cut and I’m quite sure Solange is not going after her look. These two ladies have different styles in music, fashion and life. No? Check the record!

Blazers are key pieces for fall 09 rather fitted or loose. You get magical results dressing them up or down, going from sleek to rock star (or vis versa) in seconds!

Looking for great pieces for autumn but don’t have the funds? Well no worries, trading or selling your clothes to second hand stores or thrift shops will put extra cash in your wallet and a new look in your closet! If you’re in NYC check out Beacon’s Closet or Buffalo Exchange, two of my favorite second hand stores in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There I can sale clothing I don’t need, buy staple pieces and donate things someone else will cherish.

Tip: sell things to the buyers that are in season, you’ll get more for the buck.

for more info go to beaconscloset.myshopify.com and buffaloexchange.com
