First Cassie shaves one side of her head and now Rihanna shaves both sides. I’m shocked at Cassie’s do but Rihanna’s is more expected. Some critics say Ri has gone too far but I think it matches her bad girl look to a T. What do you think people, was it a good idea for Ri to shave it or best to save it?

Her voice is soulful and encouraging, if you need to get lifted then Shanelle is your lady. She writes her own music and poetry, shared the stage with many well known artist such as Jill Scott, DMX, Nas and worked with artist such as Red Man, Erick Sermon and Q-Tip. I am quite sure this only the beginning of her journey!

Jamie Lewis and Madame Q

The creator and founder of We Are Writers Block, Jamie Lewis is on a mission and he wants everyone to join in. The movement is about bringing great entertainment to the urban communities through poetry, music, contemporary art and fashion.Up and coming artist and intellectuals are able to do what they love most. A series of events takes place each month so that people in all major cities are able to enjoy the arts.  Lewis says”Urban communities are lacking a lot of intellectual art and I feel the need to bring it to them.”   In 2005 Lewis rallied up a team to help do the job and he is looking for people to join in! “The movements moving! Move with me”, says lewis.

Hey there! I’ve got a quick do it your self activity to create the perfect look! Starting with one my favorite Rs (Reuse or Recycle). One of the hottest trends this summer is jeans shorts. Yes thats right ladies, if you haven’t  notice, there back! The whole wild child look is a go but only if it is done right. Skanky is never good so you have so be careful! There is a time and place for everything so make sure you are geared for the right location.

All you need is a pair old jeans and a pair of sizzors to get the rugged shorts. Throw them in the washer and lets seams edge out and there you have it!
