May 14, 2009 Council member Charles Barron and former employees of BCBG Max Azria held a press conference and demonstration. They speak against the popular high-end retail store for covering up the use of racial discrimination towards their associates and clients. The former employees are overwhelmed because of the unfair treatment of harassment because of their complaints to human resources, violations for being compared to racial stereotypes and the humiliation for being ignored. The protestors speak out, “No Justice, No Peace”.
